Welcome! I'm a mechanical engineer that is passionate about startups and solving hard problems. The most interesting problems to me are humanity's core engineering problems: water, food, energy, and health.
After graduating with my Bachelors and Masters of Mechanical Engineering from MIT, I became Founding Engineer and eventually Director of Engineering of Fyto, a startup pioneering sustainable protein using robotics. We spent 6 years pushing the boundary of aquatic plant production for local, on-farm protein production from dairy manure in California.
For fun, I like to read, race triathlons, play violin, travel, do DIY projects (both hands-on and vibe-coding), and foster dogs.
